Get the most out of Scalign: Sales
Best practices for reps: prep from the playbook, make the best move on each account, prioritize by ICP fit, follow up fast and ask instead of searching.
Five habits get reps the most out of Scalign. The example questions work in Claude or ChatGPT with Scalign connected, and the per-meeting and per-company ones work in the assistant in Scalign too.
Prep every meeting from the playbook
Open the company page before you meet. Deal health, the buying committee and the 3 Whys tell you where the deal stands, and each stakeholder page shows what that person cares about.
- "Brief me on [company] before my next call."
- "What does [name] care about?"
- "Who's missing from the buying committee at [company]?"
Make the best move on every account
Suggested moves on the company page show what will advance the deal, like closing a gap in the buying committee or reviving a deal that has gone quiet. Each one shows what it's based on, and you can draft the follow-up email straight from it.
- "What's my next move on [company]?"
- "Is this deal stalling, and if so, why?"
- "Why would [company] change, why now, and why us?"
Prioritize by ICP fit
ICP fit follows each company into search, the assistant and the meeting page. Spend your time where the fit is strongest. See Set up and use your ICP.
- "Is this a good fit?" (from a company page)
- "Which companies we met this month fit our ICP best?"
Follow up while it's fresh
Right after a meeting, open the actions section of the summary. Draft the follow-up, update the CRM and book the next meeting, each with your approval. See Follow up after a meeting.
Ask instead of searching
Skip the transcript. Ask the question you'd ask a colleague who was in the room. More in Ask anything about a meeting.
- "What concerns did the buyer raise, and which are still open?"
- "What do we know about their budget and timing so far?"
