Connect Attio
Connect Attio so Scalign preps you with company and deal context and adds a note to the right company after every sales meeting.
Connect Attio and Scalign uses your company, contact and deal data when it preps you for a meeting and when you ask the assistant about an account. After every sales meeting, it adds a short meeting note to the matching company in Attio. Nothing else changes in your CRM unless you approve it.
Connect Attio
- In Scalign, go to Settings → Connections.
- Under CRM, click Connect on the Attio card.
- Sign in to Attio and allow the requested permissions. You're sent back to Scalign with Attio connected.
Installing from the Attio App Store? The install link opens Scalign. Log in (or create an account), pick your workspace if you have more than one, and you land on Settings → Connections, where you click Connect on the Attio card.
What Scalign does with Attio
- Context. Meeting prep and the assistant read the company, its contacts and open deals, so you don't have to look them up.
- A note after every sales meeting. Scalign matches the meeting's external attendees to a company by their email domain and adds a note: a one-line headline, why the meeting happened, the key points, and the agreed next steps. Internal meetings get no note.
- Changes you approve. Ask the assistant to move a deal to another stage, update its value, create a company or deal, or add a note to a company or deal. Each change shows an approval step in the app first; nothing is written until you approve.
Share Attio with your workspace
The connection belongs to you: notes and changes are always written with your own Attio user. An admin who connected Attio can turn on Share with the workspace on the Attio card. Scalign then reads Attio context through that connection for everyone's meetings (read-only), so colleagues who haven't connected still get CRM context. Colleagues who want notes written for their own meetings click Connect your own.
Permissions
The connection is scoped to your Attio user: Scalign only sees what that user can see, and never deletes records. It asks Attio for:
object_configuration:read,list_configuration:read,list_entry:read— read how your companies, people and deals are set up.record_permission:read-write— read records, and create companies or update deals when you approve an assistant action.note:read-write— add meeting notes to companies.meeting:read,call_recording:read— list Attio's call recordings so you can import them.
Disconnect
On the Attio card under Settings → Connections, click Disconnect. Scalign stops accessing Attio; data already brought into Scalign stays, and you can reconnect any time. If your connection was shared with the workspace, everyone loses the CRM context that came from it. You can also revoke Scalign's access from your Attio settings.
Troubleshooting
- Notes stopped, or the card says Needs reconnect. Connections made before Scalign could write notes lack that permission, and Attio may also revoke access. Click Reconnect.
- No note appeared after a meeting. Notes are written for sales meetings with external attendees whose email domain matches a company in Attio. Check the company has the right domain (website) in Attio, and that the card doesn't say Needs reconnect.
- The note landed on the wrong company. Two companies probably share the attendees' domain. Fix the domain on the one that shouldn't have it.
