Connect ClickUp Brain

Add Scalign as a custom MCP server in ClickUp, so ClickUp Brain and your Super Agents can answer from your meetings, companies and deals.

ClickUp can connect to outside tools over MCP (Model Context Protocol). Add Scalign as a custom MCP server and ClickUp Brain and your Super Agents can work with your meetings, companies and deals: "What's the buying committee at Acme?", "Which objections came up most this month?"

Before you start

  • ClickUp Workspace owners and admins can connect Scalign for everyone. Members can add a personal connection if an admin has turned on the Connect Personal MCP Server permission.
  • Use ClickUp in your browser. Custom MCP connections can only be set up there.

Copy your Scalign server URL

  1. In Scalign, go to Settings → Connections.
  2. On the MCP card, click Set up.
  3. Copy the MCP server URL: https://engine.scalign.ai/mcp

Add Scalign in ClickUp

  1. In ClickUp, click your Workspace avatar in the upper-left corner and select Apps to open the App Center.
  2. In the sidebar, select Custom MCP, then click Add New.
  3. Choose who the connection is for, For all members or Just for me, and click Next.
  4. Enter a name, such as Scalign, and paste the server URL.
  5. Choose OAuth as the authentication method and connect.
  6. ClickUp sends you to Scalign: sign in and authorize access to your workspace. You're then sent back to ClickUp with Scalign connected.

Use Scalign in ClickUp

Once connected, Scalign's tools are listed in the app's AI Tools section in the App Center. Add them to a Super Agent, or ask ClickUp Brain a question about your meetings, companies or deals.

What ClickUp can see

The same meetings, companies and insights you see in Scalign, as the user who authorized it. ClickUp is listed on the MCP page in Scalign with the date it connected; click Revoke to cut it off. It will have to authorize again to regain access.
