Spot deals losing momentum

Use deal health and suggested moves to catch a deal that is going quiet while you can still do something about it.

Deals rarely die in one meeting. They go quiet: a champion stops replying, a promised step slips, the person who signs never shows up. Deal health keeps watch on every account, so you see the drift early.

Check deal health on the company page

Every company page carries a deal health score with a label, a one-line headline on where the deal stands, and a short note on what changed since last time.

  • Strongest and weakest areas show what's carrying the deal and what's holding it back.
  • Confidence tells you how much weight to put on the read when there's little to go on.
  • Each area has its own score, a short note and the meeting quotes behind it, so you can check the reasoning.

Warning signs to look for

  • Momentum drops: meetings and replies have slowed, or the next step has no date.
  • Mutual execution drops: commitments on either side expired without getting done.
  • Buying committee is thin: the budget owner or decision maker hasn't been in a meeting.
  • Urgency fades: no deadline or compelling event is driving the decision.

Act on it

  1. Check the suggested moves on the company page. When a deal has gone quiet, Scalign suggests a move to revive it, next to moves like closing a gap in the buying committee. Each one shows what it's based on.
  2. Draft the follow-up email straight from the suggestion, even when no meeting is linked.
  3. After your next meeting, open the meeting page to see how the score moved around that meeting and which areas moved it.

Ask about it

From the company page, ask the assistant "Is this deal stalling, and if so, why?" or "What would get this deal moving again?" The company comes along as context, so you can ask right away.
